Introduction

Company Overview

We The Culture, initiated by Meta, is a platform dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion by amplifying the voices and experiences of individuals from various backgrounds. Through collaborations, events, and content, it aims to create a more connected and inclusive global community on Meta's platforms.

Role

I collaborated with We The Culture to refine their brand identity and successfully executed multiple campaigns that specifically highlighted and uplifted the voices of the black and LGBTQ+ community. These initiatives aimed to promote inclusivity
and diversity, contributing to a more representative and empowered cultural narrative within the We The Culture platform.

The Design

In crafting social campaign assets and a published zine for We The Culture, I leveraged chrome accents, gradients, and a thoughtfully curated blend of typefaces that were integral to the existing We The Culture identity. By seamlessly incorporating these design elements, I aimed to maintain a cohesive visual language that not only resonated with the brand's established identity but also effectively communicated the essence of the campaigns and the published zine. The use of these design elements contributed to a visually compelling and consistent representation across various media, aligning with the inclusive and diverse ethos of We The Culture.

Move Towards Love

During Pride month, WTC launched the "Move Towards Love" campaign, spotlighting Black individuals and community narratives to explore their perspectives on Pride and its significance.
